FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
“Why do objects disappear from my inventory?”
If you notice that an object has disappeared from your inventory it’s because it’s no longer needed to continue the game. Sometimes after you solve a puzzle, the game will automatically remove items that were only needed until you solved that particular puzzle.
“How do I view the hints in Room 1309?”
In the hotel room you’ll find a hidden Case File on the bed. Once you tap on the Case File it will be added to your inventory. Refer to it for hints, which are obscured to keep from spoiling the answers. Simply tap the red triangle arrows to flip through the “pages" and scroll the page to reveal more text. As you collect more hint pages in various rooms, new hints will be added to the Case File.
“Who are Rose and Theodore?”
Once you collect the Case File, you can find more information about Rose and Theodore by tapping their photo on the left side of the Case File. Be sure to read the newspaper article to learn more about what happened in Room 1309.
“I’m stuck in a room and can’t move on! Can you help?”
All of the puzzles were designed to be solved with a little reasoning and logic. I was careful not to add any objects or locations that aren’t necessary to solving the puzzles. If you can add an object to your inventory it is important to finishing the game. Refer to the Case File for helpful hints (see above) if you get really stuck, but the joy of finishing the game will be greater if you try to solve the puzzles on your own.
